I was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, attended Truman State University where I received my Bachelors in Exercise Science. I subsequently attended WashU in St. Louis for Physical Therapy school from 2015-2018 and worked as a Physical Therapist for a few years at various places in the country before deciding to come back home to become a Medical Doctor. I graduated Mizzou School of Medicine (University of Missouri) and am currently a resident physician at Washington University in St. Louis training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Prior to medical school I was heavily involved on social media. After finally downloading Instagram in 2018 I became frustrated with the amount of psuedo-science and misinformation I saw spreading online. In an effort to combat the poor narratives I saw (and to have an outlet for my own learning as a fresh physical therapist) I chose to become involved on social media – and was very successful with it growing large and quickly before taking a step back to focus on my medical training.

My social media presence and content production sparked an idea for a phone app. That phone app is my attempt to bridge the gap between medicine and physical therapy as well as try to solve a major gap in access and care of patient with musculoskeletal problems and pain. This will be my long-term passion project and is something I hope you can find useful. It’s my own (small) way to try and improve the care we give people (alongside my efforts to combat the growing quantity of misinformation on social media)

If that interests you, please follow along with me on social media (links above) or sign-up to check out my phone app

Thanks for being here
